Supplies:
Instructions: 1. Using foam brush, paint entire box inside and out using cream acrylic paint. Let dry 2. Add Bird using Rub-Ons on the right side of lid. Follow directions listed on package. 3. Pick up Brocade Blue ink using sponge and apply over the entire outside of box, along all the edges, and the inside edges. Let some of the cream paint show through. 4. Select two contrasting papers from Periphery pack. Tear edges and apply ink using sponge to torn edges. Adhere to top left side of box being careful not to cover up the bird. 5. Attach doily using mini glue dots to center of box. Add buttons to center of the doily. 6. Use label that comes in Periphery pack and attach to top left using pop dots. Add a string of pearl beads with pop dot and place large button on top of them. 7. Ink bird and flower stamp with Jet Black StazOn, and stamp on white cardstock. Cut out images. Stamp initial inside the image with Brocade Blue ink. Color flowers with Blush Blossom. Add buttons. Adhere on label
9. Stamp Notes on white cardstock using Brocade Blue ink. Referring to photo, layer with paper and adhere on lower right of box. 10. Cut twill tape to fit around the sides and front of box. Adding 1½” to the length. Stamp images on twill tape with blue ink. Find center of the twill and tie an over hand knot. Use glue dots to adhere the twill to the box. Tuck in a small key under the knot. 11. Cut Periphery paper to finish inside top lid and another piece to fit on inside bottom of box. 12. Cut a ½” strip of blue paper to fit the length of the mini envelope. Use circle punches to punch out cream cardstock and blue paper. Stamp small bird image on cream cardstock. Adhere envelope to inside lid on the lower right. This can be used to hold postage stamps.
1. Cut parchment paper to 8 ½” x 5 ½”. Repeat for as many sheets that you wish to make. 2. Cut 1” strips of Periphery paper; cut those strips to 5½” wide. 3. Find the center of each strip then using the 1¾” punch and slide it up half way into the paper. Don’t take a full punch. 4. Adhere the strip to the parchment paper. Repeat for as many stationery sheets you wish to make. 5. Ink letter in Brocade Blue and stamp on cream cardstock. Use one inch punch and punch the image out. Use 1¼” h and punch out blue circle. Layer the circles together and center under the strip on the parchment paper. Leave just a little space between and then adhere. This will make it appear to have a layer over the circle. 6. Ink image with Brocade Blue and stamp on the center bottom of each parchment sheet.
7. Cut
1 inch strip from blue paper and wrap around completed stationery sheets. Stamp
small bird on cream cardstock 3 times. Punch using 1 inch circle punch and
adhere to strip.
Envelopes 1. Make a template using top of envelope flap. Use the template and cut out paper from paper pack. Adhere to envelop flaps. 2. Use Notch and Die kit to cut little notches on the flaps. 3. Ink bird stamp with Brocade Blue and stamp just under the notch on the flap. The little bird should show just under the flap. 4. Cut 1 inch blue strip and wrap around completed envelopes. 5. Stamp letter using Brocade Blue on cream cardstock. Punch out with 1¼” in punch. Add small button and adhere to band. Slide band around completed envelopes.
