Instructions:

1.   Print out heart pattern. Cut one heart pocket from designer paper. Cut out another heart pocket ¼ inch smaller using cardstock weight vellum.

2.   Cut the “flaps” off the designer paper heart and glue them to the top of the vellum cardstock flaps.

3.   Cut lace from dollies and use a glue stick to attach to the designer paper flaps. Fold over the flaps and secure with mini glue dots. Apply glue stick to only the bottom edges of the vellum (the parts that will not be seen by the fold) and adhere to the larger bottom heart.

4.   Use lace again and glue to the back of the upper part of the larger heart.

5.   Glue the half pearl beads to the front of the pocket.

6.   Layer the Basic Grey designer paper to the base card. Select an embossing plate and run the Pomegranate cardstock through Cuttlebug. Center and attach this over the designer paper.

7.   Glue heart pocket to card.

8.   Stamp image onto white cardstock with Jet Black StazOn ink. Add color with dye inks using Aqua Painter and picking up a dye ink color of your choice. Clean Aqua Painter brush with water between colors.

9.   Layer stamped and colored image onto Pomegranate cardstock scrap and glue to heart pocket at an angle.

10. Stamp word image using Jet Black StazOn onto Sky Blue cardstock scrap and glue to card.

11. For the box, apply 2 coats of acrylic paint with a foam brush.  Allow paint to dry between coats.

12. When the final coat of paint has dried, attach a completed heart pocket card front to the front of the book box using the glue dots or a glue stick.
