Splatter Gold Leafing

With all the artsy elements in stamping recently this is a great technique. You get a lot of gold drops all over your picture!

Supplies:
Fanciful Flowers Stamp Set (TAC)
Swirly Sayings Stamp Set (TAC)
Gold Metallic Pigment Inkpad (Encore)
Watercolor Crayons (Caran d’Ache Neocolor II)
• Orange
• Purple
• Grass Green
• Dark Green
18 Kt. Gold Leafing Pen (Krylon)
Detail Gold Embossing Powder (Personal Stamp Exchange)
Heat Gun (Milwaukee)
Scotch ATG 700 tape runner
5 ½” x 8 ½” Light Green Paper folded to make A2 card
4” x 5 Ό” Rose Bazzill paper
2” x 4 Ό” Dark Rose Paper
1 Ύ” x 3 7/8” 140 lb Watercolor Cold Press White Paper (Canson)
7 ½” Dark Rose Organza Ribbon
Spray Bottle filled with Water


Instructions:

1. Color with crayons directly on flower stamp as shown. Edge the stem and leaves with the
    dark green after coloring with the grass green.
2. Spray the stamp with water and stamp on watercolor paper.
3. Let dry.
4. Edge the watercolor paper with the Gold Leafing Pen.
5. Tap the barrel of the Gold Leafing Pen onto your other hand and splatter the ink all over
    the flower.
6. Let dry.
7. Layer the flower onto the dark rose paper.
8. Tie the ribbon around the two layers.
9. Edge the Rose Bazzill paper with the Gold Leafing Pen. Let dry.
10.Stamp the words using the metallic inkpad on the Rose Bazzill paper as shown. Emboss 
    with the Detail Gold Embossing Powder.
11.Layer onto green card.
