Versamark with Pop

Supplies:

  • Love and Joy (The Angel Co. [TAC])
  • Versa Mark (TAC)
  • Bright blue ink Pallette pad (TAC)
  • Mono Adhesive (Tombow)
  • Personal Paper Trimmer (Fiskers)
  • Acrylic block -  3” X 3”
  • Sanding block (TAC)
  • Bright Blue card stock (Bazzill)
  • Light blue card stock  (Die Cuts with a View [DCWV])
  • Ultra Smooth White  Card stock - ( TAC)
  • Ribbon and/or fibers by the yard
  • Fancy fibers (unknown)
  • 2” square punch (Marvey)
  • Sharp sissors
  • Pop dots

Instructions:

1.      Cut Bright Blue Card stock 8 ½”x 5 ¼” and fold in half to measure 4-¼”x5-¼”.

2.      Cut Light blue  card stock to 5” x 4 “

3.      Stamp floral image on light blue cardstock randomly with versamark then sand over the image while the versamark is fresh. The dust from sanding will make the image pop out.

4.      Cut piece of bright blue card stock 3 ¼ “x3 ¼ “.  Using a 2” square punch, punch out the center. Trim the edges at a slight angle making a “frame”.

5.      Cut 2 pieces of the coordinating ribbon (the ribbon should be the same width as the edge of the frame), cutting at an angle. Attach to the frame at the top and the bottom.

6.      Cut Ultra-smooth white card stock to 2 ½”x2 ½”.  Stamp floral pattern on this piece in bright blue ink. Attach to the back of the frame. Attach with pop dots.

7.      Wrap a length of white and bright blue fiber around the light blue card stock and attach in the back. Then attach the light blue card stock to the bright blue card base.

8.  Cut a piece of white card stock 3-3/8“x1-½ “ Stamp sentiment on it and stamp dragonflies at both sides. Cut a piece of 3-½x1-¾  piece of bright blue cardstock. Layer the white piece onto the blue piece and attach to the card with double stick tape.
