Garden of Primas

By Becky Lemire
Rubber Roadsters
Intermediate Stamping Team Designer

Spring is here....isn't it? Even if it isn't here quite yet, there are tons of flower to make your cards scream spring. I just love all the paper flowers out on the market today and I also love the latest stamp designs consisting of doodles and paisley and swirly ma-bobs. Why not use those stamps as layouts for a Prima flower garden.

Supplies:
Swirly Gigs Rubber Stamp Set (The Angel Co. [TAC])
Forget Not Rubber Stamp Set (TAC)
Hint of Pesto Versa Magic Chalk Ink Pad (Tsukineko~TAC)
Bashful Blue Cardstock (Stampin’ Up! [SU]):
cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" folded in half
Sahara Sand Cardstock (SU):
cut to 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"
White Card Stock:
cut to 2 1/8" x 3 1/8"
Prima Flowers
Yellow Mini Brads (All My Memories)
Icicle Stickles (Ranger)
Medieval Gold Glitz Spray (Moon Glow)
Circle Pop It! Pop Dots (TAC)

Instructions:
1. Cut all paper as stated in the supplies list.

2. Stamp the corner swirly stamp on the top left and the bottom right of your card front.
Stamp another swirly image on the other two corners.

3. Stamp the saying in the center of the white cardstock. Stamp some parts of swirls on the
corners of this same white piece. Adhere this to the piece of Sahara Sand cardstock. Put
pop dots on the back of this piece and adhere to the center of the card front.

4. Choose your flowers and start laying them out on the swirls in the corners of the card
front. It's okay that you're covering up most of your stamped image. Some of the stamped
image poking through the flowers is just an added touch that will resemble greenery.
Begin gluing the flowers down as shown in the photo. Choose some of the flowers to put
brads in the centers. When all of the flowers are in place and glued down, use glitter glue
to add centers to the rest of the flowers.

5. When everything is completely dry, spray the Moon Glow Glitz Spray over the entire front
of the card. This adds some more shimmer, yet gives it an awesome antiqued look.
