Shaker Bottle Cap Flowers

Instructions:

Papers:

1. Tear rosemary cardstock on both sides 2-3/4” x 12” and place on left side of the green with dots cardstock.

2. Tear stripped cardstock on both side 2-1/4” x 12” and place on rosemary cardstock.

3. Trim another piece of the rosemary cardstock 6” x 9”.

4. Tear ½” off the bottom making 8-1/2” and place on right side of the green with dots cardstock.

5. Trim Harvest Daisies cardstock 5-1/4” x 8-1/2”.

6. Tear ½” off the bottom making it 8” and place on rosemary cardstock.

7. Trim dark orange cardstock 5” x 7”.

8. Trim photo 4-1/2” x 6-1/2” and place on dark orange cardstock.

9. Tear rosemary cardstock on both sides 2-3/4” x 12” and place bottom on green with dots cardstock.

10. Tear stripped cardstock on both side 2-1/4” x 12” and place on rosemary cardstock.

11. Trim orange with dots cardstock 4-1/2” x 3-1/2”.

12. Tear ½” off the side making it 3” and place right side on green with dots cardstock.

13. Trim another piece of the rosemary cardstock 6-1/2” x 4-1/2” and place on orange with dots cardstock.

14. Trim dark orange paper 6-1/4” x 4-1/4” and place on rosemary cardstock.

15. Trim photo 4” x 6” and place on dark orange cardstock.

16. Trim red/purple cardstock 4-1/2” x 3-1/2”.

17. Tear ½” off the side making it 3” and place left side on stripped cardstock.

18. Trim dark orange cardstock 6-1/4” x 4-1/4” and place on red/purple cardstock.

19. Trim photo 4” x 6” and place on dark orange cardstock.

Flowers:

20. Stamp image with each four colors of Dusty Concord, Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, and Shabby Shutters Distress Ink Pads.

21. Cut out twenty-four (24) petals.

22. Curl each of the petals from side to side.

23. Place three glue dots where you want to locate a flower on the trimmed strip.

24. Place petals around the glue dots in the shaped of a flower.

25. Repeat this step for other two flowers on the first page and for one flower on the second page.

Bottle Caps:

26. Flattening the bottle cap:
• Take a bottle cap, a piece of wood 2” x 4” x 6” long, and a hammer.
• Place the bottle cap on the wood piece of upside down and hammer it until flat.

27. Using a little of each of the four (4) color micro beads, sprinkle inside of bottle cap. Not too much!

28. Place watch lens cover on the bottle cap.

29. Put glue around the watch lens cover to attach it to bottle cap. Use glue sparingly to prevent leaking inside of bottle cap and let cure.

30. Process the remaining bottle caps in the same manner.

31. After glue has dried on the watch lens cover, place the bottle cap in the middle of the flowers using pop dots.

Title:

32. On the computer in word processing, type up the following information: where, date, age and name. Picking the font, size and colors to coordinate with your design.

33. Place a sheet of vellum into printer and press print.

34. Allow vellum to dry.

35. Trim vellum and white cardstock and punch middle on the top of vellum and white cardstock.

36. Place the ribbon on the middle and place on second page.
