Embossed Radiant Pearls

By Peggie Wilkins
Rubber Roadsters
Advanced Stamping Team Designer

I love the look of Radiant Pearls but don’t always like to wait the hours for it to dry so I emboss over the paint.  Sometimes I use clear embossing powder but here I wanted more sparkle so I used a transparent star dust embossing powder.

Supplies:
Luscious Leaves Stamp Set (TAC)
Red Sparkle A2 card
2¼”x3” White Paper
2½”x3¼” Color Me Silly Play (Basic Grey)
2½”x3¼” Color Me Silly Learn (Basic Grey
2½”x4½” Color Me Silly Imagine (Basic Grey)
3¾”x5” Color Me Silly Wonder (Basic Grey)
6” Fiber Fusion (Basic Grey)
Scotch Tape
Red Swirl Clip (TAC)
Yellow Swirl Clip (TAC)
Small Paint Brush
Radiant Pearls (Angelwing Enterprises)
   Mayan Gold
   Christmas Rose
   Dainty Daffodil
Star Dust Embossing Powder (Stampendous!)
Heat Gun
Stipple Brush
Palette Hybrid Inkpad (TAC)
    Burnt Sienna
    Raw Sienna
Small Glue Dots
ATG700 Tape Gun (Scotch)

Directions:

1.      Stamp leaf on white paper with Burnt Sienna Inkpad

2.      Paint leaf with Mayan Gold Radiant Pearl. Use Christmas Red to paint the stem and veins. Highlight and blend slightly with Dainty Daffodil.

3.      Sprinkle Star Dust Embossing Powder on painted leaf and heat with heat gun.

4.      Using Stipple Brush and Raw Sienna Inkpad  and stipple around the edge of the white paper.

5.      Wrap fiber around the leaf as shown. Tape fiber in back

6.      Layer leaf onto Play paper.

7.      Layer Wonder paper onto card.

8.      Layer Imagine paper onto left side of card as shown.

9.      Layer Learn paper on the right side of card as shown.

10. Layer the leaf in the middle of card as shown.

11. Apply the glue dots to the swirls and then wrap any extra of the Glue dots to the back so it won’t show.

12. Attach the swirls to the card as shown.
