Origami Fan Instructions: 1. Cut the Black cardstock in two pieces measuring 5.50”x 8.50”. Fold one piece of cardstock in half to equal size 4.25”x5.50”. Lay aside. 2. Dust the Black cardstock with the Embossing Buddy, lightly, to control static. Coat the Chinese Calligraphy stamp using the embossing pad and apply to the left half of the black cardstock. (See photo for positioning) Then coat with the Gold embossing powder, shake off excess into the Tidy Tray. Use heat gun to melt the gold powder. Repeat the above process on the lower right half of the cardstock, only. (See photo) Set aside. 3. Cut out the pattern for the fan. Lay pattern on the red paper and draw around. Draw the fold lines. On the front of the fan, using the white ink stamp the border of the fan. Allow ink to dry. Use the gold marker to add a very thin line around the outer edge of the fan. Take the flower stamp start in the center of the fan and stamp with black ink a pattern in the center of the fan. Now add the crane in two places on the fan. Allow the ink to dry completely and cut out the stamped fan. 4. Turn the fan over to the back. Using a ruler crease the fan on the drawn lines, all in the same direction. Once the fan has been creased on all the lines it can now be folded to look like a fan. Fold every other fold in the opposite direction. This now completes the accordion fold. 5. On the scrap piece of white cardstock stamp the plum flower in the red ink. Cut out and lay aside. 6. String the beads of your choice to make two strands of beads one measuring 3 inches and the other 2 ˝ inches leaving approximately 1 inch of string on each. Tie the beaded strings off. Adhere the two tassels and the two strings to the back of the fan using the Zig glue. Be certain that the glue has dried and they are attached securely to the fan. Glue the fan and the stamped words to the front of the stamped black cardstock. (See photo for positioning.)
