Karen Gibson

Supplies:

•  Renaissance Angels (Stampin’Up!)
•  Pattern Print Background stamp (Stampin’Up!)
•  Craft White ink pad (Stampin’Up!)
•  Classic Garden Green ink pad (Stampin’Up!)
•  Classic Basic Black ink pad (Stampin’Up!)
•  Garden Green cardstock (Stampin’Up!)
•  Summer Sun cardstock (Stampin’Up!)
•  Night of Navy cardstock (Stampin’Up!)
•  Brushed gold cardstock (Stampin’Up!)
•  Pure Color pencils (Stampin’Up!)
•  Metallic gold cord (Stampin’Up!)
•  White fibers
•  Manila tag (sample use 4 Ľ inch long tag)
•  Scotch Double Stick Tape (3M)

Instructions:

1.    Stamp angel image using craft white on Night of Navy cardstock. Let dry or heat set.

2.    Using the Pure Color pencils color in the angel image. Make sure to color over the white ink as well as the inside image.

3.    Layer on Summer Sun cardstock and tear bottom edge.  Attach with double stick tape.

4.    Layer on Brushed gold cardstock and tear bottom edge. Attach with double stick tape.

5.    Tear strip of Summer Sun cardstock and mount this to the back of the layered image using double stick tape.

6.    Stamp background stamp on Garden Green cardstock using Garden Green ink.

7.    Mount layered angel image in the top left corner of the Garden Green cardstock using double stick tape.

8.    Fold tag in half. Stamp flower image in Basic Black and color image in using Pure Color pencils.

9.    Ink background stamp with Garden Green ink and stamp two times on scratch paper. Then stamp over the stamped flower image. This will be a 3rd generation stamping on the tag.

10.           Ink up word stamp with Basic Black ink and repeat 3rd generation stamping over the flower image on tag.

11.           Stamp inside tag with word stamp and dove image.

12.           Add fibers and cord to tag and adhere to card using double stick tape.

This technique works most favorable on dark colored cardstock.   For best results, make sure the ink on the stamped image is all colored with the Pure Color pencils.
