Instructions
1.  Cut all cardstock and paper to sizes listed above in the supply list.

2.  On the Pumpkin Pie (1" x 7 3/4") Cardstock piece, stamp title using Eclectic Alphabet on a 1x7 acrylic block using Cowboy Boots dye ink pad.   If there are multiples of the same letters needed, leave a space empty for that letter in your title on the acrylic block.   You can go back after the first stamping and embossing to fill in the blanks.     Immediately after stamping, pour on Transcendence Embossing Powder and melt with heat gun.  Stamp, in the title, the letters that were left out and immediately put the EP on and melt with a heat gun.

3.  On a scrap piece of the Birch Cardstock, stamp the scarecrow from the Fall Blocks stamp set.  Using a waterbrush, swipe some color directly from the watercolor crayons in the box to color in the image.  When dry, cut around the image with scissors or craft knife.  Cut the inside background spaces out with a craft knife, also.

4.  Tape the title piece onto the denim background piece using a small piece of double stick tape.  Tape that onto the top of the Birch page using a small piece of double stick tape.  The tape is used just to keep the papers from moving when you are sewing.  Also, put a small piece of tape on the 3 1/2" x 5" Pumpkin Pie cardstock and adhere to the 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" Scarlet piece.

5.  Time to go to the sewing machine!  Thread the golden yellow thread into your machine and set your machine  to the zigzag stitch.  Stitch the denim paper to the Birch cardstock both top and bottom as shown.  You can backstitch to tie it off or you can leave long threads and tape them to the back.

6.  Next, thread your machine with red thread and set it to a straight stitch.  Stitch the pumpkin colored cardstock to the denim as shown.  Backstitch or tape to the back to finish.

7.  Thread your machine with the blue thread.  Set your machine back to
zigzag and sew the pumpkin and scarlet pieces that you taped together earlier.

8.  Now do a zigzag stitch around your uneven pumpkin square with the blue thread.

9.  This is the last sewing step.  Take the scarlet 3"x3" square, cut with pinking shears, and sew with a straight stitch diagonally about every 1/2" in both directions as shown in photo.

10.  Using double stick tape, adhere the two patch squares to the left side of the Birch cardstock page and the picture framing cardstock to the right side of the page.

11. Put foam tape on the back of the stamped scarecrow cutout and adhere to the pumpkin colored patch.

12. Tape your picture to the frame using double stick (photo) tape.

13. Finally, tie a bow with the twine and stick to the center of the Scarlet colored patch using tacky glue.  Allow to dry.
