INSTRUCTIONS:

1.     Apply primer to the metal CD box and let dry.  Paint both the inside and outside of the box with the Country Twill Folk Art Acrylic Paint.

2.     Stamp the leaf shape from Sentimental Shapes a few times on the tan tissue using the Chestnut Memories Ink.  Apply the tissue to the front and back of the metal box with the Gel Medium to form a textured surface.  Set aside to dry.

3.     Color both pieces of cork using the colors from the Autumn Tones Chalk pad and the Sunflower Pigment Brush Pad.  Stamp desired leaves on the cork with the Chestnut Color Box Ink Pad.  Also stamp leaves on the green handmade paper with the Memories Ink.

4.     Trace the lines on the cork surface with the Hot Marks Tool.  It works very fast so be careful to keep the tip upright as you do this step.  Using the Hot marks tool is similar to wood burning and works great on the cork to embellish it.  Add dots, etc if you like and burn the cork edges.

5.     Use the assorted metallic pens to add highlights and shimmer to the stamped leaves on the cork.

6.     Make the Circle Tag by using the small piece of cork stamped with the leaf from Charcoal Leaves.  Stamp and trim with scissors to fit the shape; glue in place with the Thick Craft Glue.

7.     Assemble your artwork on the front of the metal tin.  First layer the green handmade paper, next add the cork layer and last, add the Die Cut With a View circle embellishment tag tied with metallic copper cord. Add the Leaves saying from DCWV with copper colored brads. Use a little of the Gleams paint and brush on the brads to highlight them.
