Have you tried Walnut
Crystals in your stamping creations? It looks really cool, and you can get lots
of different looks with it. I love to use them dry (I think that is the most
economical way to purchase them) and then spritz them with water. You can
dilute them in distilled water to any shade you want. You can apply them and
let them dry as is or dab them with a paper towel to remove some of the color.
I have so much fun playing with them and have seen some stunning creations from
other stampers.
Supplies:
• Violin Collage
stamp (TAC)
• Brown cardstock (Bazzill):
- ½ Sheet (5½” x 8½”) fold in half
- scrap (3½” x 2½”) trim later

- ¼ Sheet (5½” x 4 ¼”) trim later
- scrap (3½” x 2½”) trim later
• Walnut Crystals (Tsukineko)

(Wal-Mart)
• Mono Adhesive (Tombow)
• Prismacolor Pencils (Sanford)
• Deckle scissors (Fiskars)
Instructions:
1.
Spritz ¼ sheet of ivory

Walnut Crystals over entire piece. Spritz again with water to make them blend.
Continue until you get the look you want. Let dry. Place under heavy object if
paper curls too much to flatten out. Trim with deckle scissor to 5 ¼” x 4”.
Mount onto folded half sheet of brown cardstock.
2.
Stamp Violin Collage onto scrap
of Ivory Maturals cardstock. Trim with Deckle scissors. Mount onto brown
cardstock scrap with Mono Adhesive.
3.
Mount this piece onto the
folded half sheet of cardstock base to complete this stunning card.
