Fabric Tack Board

By Missy Cahoon
Hot Rod Scrampers
Advanced Scramping Team Designer

This layout is incredibly easy, and the ending results are sensational.  The criss-cross geometric pattern serves as a multi-purpose design.

Supplies

White 12X12 card stock (2 sheets)
Vanilla card stock (scraps)
Vanilla Ribbon (Wal-Mart)
Label Maker
Wooden Footballs (Michael’s)
Sports Buttons (Michael’s)
Football Fabric (Michael’s)
Aileen’s Tacky Glue
12” paper cutter (Fiskars)

Instructions:

  1. Cover 1 sheet of 12X12 cardstock with the football fabric leaving a 1” border around all sides. Fold the fabric over the edges and glue with tacky glue to the back side of the cardstock.

  1. Wrap 3 pieces of ribbon diagonally across the cardstock covered with fabric and glue ends to the back. Wrap 3 more pieces of ribbon going the opposite direction and glue the ends to the back.

  1. Glue buttons at intersecting points on the ribbon and slide pictures under the ribbon. I glued the pictures down with glue as well.

  1. Type title and date with label maker and mat with scraps of vanilla cardstock. Attach with tacky glue.

  1. Glue a piece of 12X12 card stock to the back of layout using tacky glue.
