EMBELLISH IT!!

Rita Holmes
Off Road Inksters
Intermediate Scramping Designer

Embellishing is so much fun to do on your layouts.  You can use basically anything.  I have used rubber stamps, punches, mini brads and ribbons on this particular layout.  It adds detail without much work.  Give it a try!

Supplies:

Be Authentic (TAC)
Pocket Full of Fun (TAC The Angel Company)
Ink Pad - India Black (TAC)
Acrylic Blocks
Fabri-Tac Glue for adhering your layers (Beacon)
Dark Pink Cardstock - 8" x 8"
Light Pink Cardstock - Mat size to fit picture
Cardstock Scraps:
    Blue to stamp pocket
Pink and complimentary pattern for punched flowers
Assorted Ribbons cut 6" each (Michael's and Wal*Mart)
Daisy Punch (Marvy Uchida)
Mini brads to compliment flowers
Foam Tape
Paper drill
Cutting Mat
Your favorite picture for this layout

Instructions:

1.                All adhering will be done with the Fabri-Tac Glue.

2.                Mat picture on light pink cardstock.  Adhere to top center of 8”x8” dark pink cardstock.  Stamp the words “love” and “blessings” from the Be Authentic stamp set on both sides of picture.

3.                Stamp the pocket from the Pocket full of Fun stamp set on the blue scrap of paper and cut out.  Adhere to the bottom left corner of your layout.  Punch five flowers from the scraps of cardstock and scrap of patterned papers. Attach a mini brad through the center of each flower.  Adhere to top of pocket with pieces of foam tape.

4.                Measure about 1-1/8” up from bottom of layout and punch 8 holes across measuring ½” apart.  Measure another 3/8” directly above the first set of holes and punch 8 holes across.  This will give you holes to thread your ribbon.  Thread ribbon through holes and tie in a knot.

5.                Quick and Easy Layout!!!      ENJOY!!!!!
