•    Fiber (unknown)
•    Foam Hydra Sponge (Mehron)

•    Orange Button
•    Poetry Beads (Dollar Tree)
•    Orange Jewelry Beads (Wal*Mart)
•    Paper Cutter (Fiskars)
•    Printer (HP Office Jet 5510)

Instructions:

  1. Sponge the edges of the orange 12”X12” cardstock with midnight blue ink. Cut ¼“ off all 4 sides of the 12”X12” vanilla cardstock. Cut a 2” strip of orange cardstock. Sponge around edges of the vanilla and orange cardstock with the same midnight blue ink.

  2. Brush orange acrylic paint VERY LIGHTLY on the vanilla background using the 2” paint brush.

  3. Attach the vanilla cardstock to the orange 12”X12” background using Hermafix tabs. Attach the orange strip halfway down the page positioned to the right. Adhere with hermafix tabs. Glue a strip of blue ribbon in the middle of the orange strip using liquid glue.

  4. Attach a strip of orange fiber on the top and bottom of the vanilla cardstock using liquid glue.

  5. Cut a piece of midnight blue cardstock 4½” X 10½” to mat your first picture. Adhere your picture at the top of the mat leaving a ¼” border at the top. Adhere to the vanilla cardstock using hermafix tabs.

  6. Dip the sponge stamps into acrylic paint and stamp on burlap. When this is dry, cut your images into a square leaving a 1” border. Pull the burlap strands out along the edges to create a fringe. Attach an orange button in the center of the blue flower using liquid glue.

  7. Set the pasta machine for about a ¼” thickness, and run a piece of the Blue Pearl clay through it to flatten. Cut letters out with the alphabet clay letters. Bake in an oven according to package instructions. (NOTE: Test a small piece before baking all of your letters. I learned this the hard way!! LOL.)

  8. Print your journaling on orange cardstock and cut into a tag. Slot punch the end and attach blue and orange fiber.

  9. Glue your clay letters onto the strips of fiber on the top and bottom of the page using liquid glue. Attach your second photograph on the right side of your layout using hermafix tabs. Glue a poetry bead on the bottom corners of each photograph.

10.Attach burlap pieces, tag, and Jewelry beads using liquid glue.
