Fantastic Faux Metal Embossing  1, 2

Supplies for Love You Card:

•    Loving Hearts stamp set (Stampin' UP!)
•    Brilliance Moonlight White (Tsukineko)
•    Palette Ink in Black (Stewart Superior)
•    Adirondack Alcohol Ink in Stream (Ranger)
•    Black Cardstock (TAC)
•    Turquoise Card Stock (TAC)
•    Scribble Heart Punch (EK Success)
•    Metal Foil Tape (Hardware Store)
•    Teal Organdy Ribbon 5/8" (Really Reasonable Ribbon)
•    Mono Adhesive (Tombow)
•    Personal Paper Trimmer (Fiskars)
•    Foam Tape (3M)

Instructions:

1.                Cut black card stock to 8-½”x 5-Ό” - fold in half.

2.                Cut turquoise card stock to 5” x 4”.

3.                Ink up the background stamp with the moonlight white Brilliance stamp to cover the Card. Then ink up stamps with black Palette ink and stamp over the background with the Hearts and words in a random pattern creating a collage effect. Attach to the black card stock with mono adhesive and set aside.

4.                Cut another piece of black card stock 2-½” x 2-½”. Cut Foil tape 2 -” x 2-Ό”. 

5.                Punch out Scribble heart from scrap of card stock and center over black card stock. Peel backing off of foil tape (it is sticky) and lay sticky side down over heart centering. Use a paper towel to rub out wrinkles and bring out the image. (You will cut yourself if you do not use a paper towel!).

6.                Open the alcohol ink and place a few drops on a piece of felt.  Rub it over the foil tape using as much or as little as you like.  Let Dry.  Stamp the “Love You” saying in center of heart with Black Palette ink and let dry. Mount to card with foam tape.  Attach teal organdy ribbon to card.

•    Flower Stem Stamp Set (TAC)
•    Friends and Flowers (TAC)
•    Palette Ink in Noir Black (Stewart Superior)
•    Cottage Rose Ink (Design Originals)
•    Bright Green Cardstock
•    Pink Cardstock 
•    Ultra smooth white cardstock
•    Metal Foil Tape (Hardware Store)
•    Mint Organdy Ribbon 5/8"
•    Mono Adhesive (Tombow)
•    Metal Foil Tape (Hardware Store)
•    Mint Organdy Ribbon 5/8"
•    Mono Adhesive (Tombow)
•    Buttons (Dress It Up)
•    Bookbinding Glue (Club Scrap)
•    Layered square punch 1½" and 2Ό" (CM)
•    1½" square punch (EK Success)
•    Foam Tape (3M)

Instructions:

1.                Cut Bright green card stock to 4 Ό” x 8 ½” and fold in half.

2.                Cut pink card stock to 5” x 4” and attach to front of the bright green Card stock with mono adhesive.

3.                Cut background paper to 4” x 5”. Cut a diagonal layer of pink card stock adhere with mono adhesive.

4.                Stamp randomly with flower stamps and verse.  Stamp over card stock and back ground paper in cottage rose ink.

5.                Punch out squares of white card stock with the larger square punch and the pink card stock with the smaller square punch. Layer and glue together with mono adhesive.

6.                Punch out flower in scrap card stock and center on pink squares.

7.                Punch out 1-Ό” square of foil tape. Place over punched out flower with sticky side down foil side up smooth out wrinkles with paper towel until image pops out. Repeat for all three squares.

8.                Attach the three squares with foam tape along the diagonal. 

9.                Glue buttons in the center of each flower image with book binding glue.

10.           Stamp the saying “friends and flowers on bright green card stock trim and attach with mono adhesive at an angle.

11.           Attach mint organdy ribbon.
