Instructions:

Stamped Dress (shown)

1.                For back side of card - cut one pattern of white cardstock cutting off tab at top.

2.                For front side of dress - cut one out of pink cardstock leave tab.

3.                Cut one V-shaped front yoke pattern from both the white and pink cardstock.

4.                Stamp the three colors of pigment ink randomly on the pink cardstock front with any small floral stamp.

5.                Sprinkle clear embossing powder over the stamped images, tap off, and save excess powder.

6.                Melt the Embossing Powder with the heat tool.

7.                Trim the cuffs on the back of the dress with the décor scissors

8.                Trim the cuffs and bottom edge of dress front with the décor scissors. Make these cuts slightly deeper so that they will show the back paper of the card.

9.                Punch the cuffs and hem inside the décor cut.

10.           Trim the white and pink cardstock yokes with the décor scissors and punch inside the cut.

11.           Using the Heliotrope ink, rub lightly along the décor cut edges of the dress front and the pink yoke décor edge.

12.           Speed dry ink with the heat tool.

13.           Glue the pink yoke piece over the white yoke piece allowing a trim of white to show.

14.           Glue the yoke to the front of the dress at the fold line of the tab.

15.           Glue the folded front tab over the back of the dress at the top of the neck. This makes the “hinge” of the card.

16.           Glue a double bow of ribbon to the center front of the yoke.

17.           Glue three buttons down the center front of the dress under the joke tip.

Patterned Paper Dress (not shown)

1.                Follow the sequence of the Cardstock cutting. You may use any color cardstock to coordinate with your patterned paper.

2.                Cut patterned paper front and yoke to glue over cardstock front and yoke so the two papers act as one.

3.                Follow the same assembly sequence, as the all cardstock dress, omitting the stamping and use of the inks.

Suggestions for embellishment:

Add lace, paper doily, embroidery thread to tie on the buttons, add a pocket with a tiny doily “hankie. Use blue jean paper and baby rick- rack for a fun “country flavor.” Make it a seasonal dress using specialty buttons.
