Vellum Candle Boat

Supplies

Cherries from Fruits and Flowers Stamp Set (TAC)
Black Beauty Ink Pad (TAC)
Vellum – two strips; cut to 2-1/2” x 5-1/2”
Red Card Stock – two strips; cut to 1” x 5-1/2”
6 pieces red gingham ribbon; cut to 4” each
Poppy Red and Spring Green Watercolor Markers (Impress)
Paper Trimmer (Fiskars)
1/8” Hole punch
Easy Stick Double Stick Adhesive Runner (Henkel/Duck)
Ruler

Instructions

1.  Ink up cherry image using Black Beauty and stamp image 3 times onto each sheet of Vellum.  Allow Images to dry well. 

2.  Turn the vellum over and color in the images.  Color the cherries with Poppy Red and the leaves with Spring Green. Allow to dry. 

3.  Place the vellum back to back (the side you colored) and put a very small amount of adhesive (using the runner) just to hold it in place.

 4. Tear the strips of red cardstock and adhere one to each side and at the bottom using the tape runner.

 5.  Using your ruler mark even placement for the punched holes.  Punch the holds using your 1/8" hole punch.

 6.  Run one piece of ribbon through each hole and double knot it.
