Instructions:

1.  Cut the Drawing Board to size needed 3 inches by 3 inches.

2.  To make the Faux Tile: Melt the embossing powders together until they are liquid.  Melt at highest setting.  Dip the square you have cut in the hot mixture (BE Careful!).  Lift the square out of the pot with tweezers, place on the sheet, and let cool.  If the surface of the square is not smooth, heat briefly with the heat gun and smooth with a metal spatula.

3.  Ink up the floral stamp with the Versacraft Chocolate Ink and stamp the tile with the floral image and set close to work area.  Heat the tile briefly with a heat gun so it is melted and somewhat runny.  Quickly stamp into the hot tile in the middle of the square.  Heat the Tile again with the heat gun and stamp the edge of the image on the edges of the square.  Use the writing section of the stamp, which will create a finished edge to the design. Let the tile cool.

4.  Paint tile with the Lumiere Paints using the photo for color placement.  Allow paint to dry thoroughly.

5. To give the tile a protective coating, brush on a coat of Folk Art Papier Glass Finish.  This product is specially formulated to interact with paper.  It is archival safe and cures in 48 hours.

6.  Assemble box with tile embellishment.  Paint the paper mache box using green Lumiere paint and let dry.  Attach the pink velvet paper to the box with Tacky Glue.  Mount the tile on top of the pink velvet paper with “Tacky” glue.
