Pressed Flowers Stamp Set (TAC)
Evergreen Pigment Ink (Colorbox) Instructions 1. Place the words "Love", "Laugh", and "have faith" on 2" x 2" acrylic blocks. Ink up with the Evergreen Pigment Ink and stamp onto the Ivory Twill Tape as shown in photo (*Pigment inks works better than dye inks on twill tape and other ribbons because it does not bleed on the material). Set aside. 2. On your large acrylic block, place all the words from the Dance with Your Spirit Stamp Set randomly. Ink up all the stamps at once using the Sandy Beach dye ink pad. Stamp onto your canvas panel to fill the entire panel. 3. Using your Sandy Beach dye ink pad, rub the ink pad lightly over the entire canvas. This process adds a little color to the canvas and gives you more of a textured look by highlighting some of the raised areas of the canvas. 4. Place one of the flowers from the Pressed Flowers stamp set onto a 2” x 2” acrylic block. Ink up stamp with Sahara Desert dye ink and stamp randomly on the canvas panel. 5. Stamp the next flower stamp in the same way using Rustic Red. It is a darker color, so you may want to test it on a piece of paper to see if you like it darker. I stamped the color off once before stamping on my canvas to go with the lighter colors I was using. 6. Ink up the daisy looking stamp with Cloudy Day dye ink and stamp on the canvas randomly. Repeat the stamping process with the fern stamp in Pine Tree dye ink, the leaves stamp in Rolling Hills dye ink, and finally the centers of the flowers using Golden Wheat dye ink. 7. Lay the stamped twill tape across the front of the canvas about 2/3 of the way down and attach the ends to the back of the canvas using double stick tape. Lay the sheer ribbon over the twill tape and attach the ends to the back of the canvas using double stick tape, also. 8. Using the All Purpose Glue, squeeze some glue around the perimeter of the back of the canvas and press onto the center of the face of the picture frame. Lay something heavy on top of the entire piece until the glue is dry.
