Rollabind Album

Using the two pieces of red cardstock, follow instructions per manufacturer’s manual for putting the rollabind pages together.  Paint the red cardstock with various colors of the watercolor palette.  Stamp with the Mother’s Face background stamp on the painted cover. Attach painted piece of cardstock size 2” x 2” inch.
  2. Paint domino with watercolor palette and speed dry heat with heat tool.  Ink Mother’s Face background stamp with Black StazOn ink pad and stamp on domino. Allow the stamped domino ample time to dry or speed dry with the heat tool.  Attach domino with Terrific Tacky Tape to the painted cardstock.
  3. Attach painted cardstock strip to inside the album.   For the other strip, crumple the strip, smooth out, and attach to the second page of the album using Monoadhesive.
  4. Paint the 4 slide mounts with the Pearl Ex watercolor palette.  For two of the slide mounts, stamp with the Mother’s Face background stamp in India Black ink and heat set with heat tool to speed up the drying process.
  5. Cut four pieces of painted cardstock to fit inside the slide mount, and stamp with the Love stamp, perfect, small love stamp, and Hope stamp in India Black ink.  Speed dry with heat tool.
  6. Insert the stamped cardstock into each slide mount and set aside.

Faux Metallic Embellishments

  1. Turn on melting pot and set it to the highest setting. Pour 4 oz. of Gold UTEE and 4 oz of Clear UTEE into the melting pot and cover with lid. After the UTEE has melted, add in one tablespoon of UTEE Flex and completely melt.   Slowly swirl around with craft stick twice.
  2. Carefully pick up the microscope and dip each edge of the slide in the melted UTEE.  Set aside and allow to cool.
  3. For the Love and Hope stamped slide mounts, follow step #2.
  4. Apply Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink to Victorian Embellishment stamp and dip stamp into the melted UTEE.  Stamp on the craft sheet and allow to cool. Remove stamp from the hardened embellishment.  Cut any excess UTEE off from around embellishment.
  5. To make the hearts, pour UTEE onto craft sheet and put the heart cookies cutters into the hot UTEE and allow to cool.  Remove the heart cut outs and set aside.  Put the excess hardened UTEE back into the Melting Pot to melt again for future use.
  6. Prepare the Victorian Border stamps by applying Versamark ink directly to the stamps.  Set aside.
  7. Heat one of the UTEE hearts with the Heat Tool and allow the heart to melt slightly.  Stamp with the Victorian Border stamps and remove when the UTEE heart has cooled.
  8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for the second heart.
  9. Apply red and light gold metallic rub-ons to hearts, seal with the Krylon spray, and allow to dry.
  10. Using the Terrific Tacky Tape, glue hearts to the album.  Apply the LOVE microscope slide to the crumpled black cardstock with the foam tape.
