Fun with Opalite Ink Pads

By Lori Ronnerud-Guimond
Crafty Cruisers
Intermediate Stamping Team Designer

In my humble opinion, I believe the Opalite Ink Pads were designed to be used with dark cardstock. This is how they show off their shimmering colors the best.  Of course, the scanner cannot pick up the real beauty of these ink pads.  So, you’ll just have to get one to play with and my guess is that you’ll fall in love with them just as I have.  You can stamp on light colored cardstock with these ink pads and still see the image and shimmer even when brayering over it with another color. It just isn’t as obvious as when used on dark cardstock.
